Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 October 2026 · Publisher: Experus BV (Belgium) · Contact: info@experus.com

Balance the Cube ("the game") is a free mobile game published by Experus BV. This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and the choices you have. The game has no account system and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location.

1. Information stored on your device only

The game saves your best time, stage progress, earned "TimePlayed" credits, purchased colour themes, and the selected theme in the app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the game.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows advertisements through Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:

DataPurpose
Advertising ID and other device identifiersAd serving, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement
Device and app information (model, OS version, app version, language)Ad serving and diagnostics
IP address and coarse (city-level) location derived from itRegional ad delivery and legal compliance
Ad interaction data (views, clicks, watched rewarded videos)Measurement and reward delivery

This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): when you first open the game in these regions, a consent dialog lets you accept or decline personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time from the game's privacy options button, or by resetting your device's advertising ID in your Android settings.

Removing ads: the optional "Remove Ads" purchase disables banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded videos remain available as an opt-in choice only.

3. In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)

The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase exists so the game can hide ads; we never receive your payment details. Google's handling of purchase data is described in the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's privacy policy.

4. Leaderboard (Google Play Games Services)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the game submits your best survival time to a Google Play Games leaderboard under your Play Games profile (gamer name and avatar). This uses Google Play Games Services and is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can sign out or manage your Play Games profile in the Google Play Games app.

5. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and is listed for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data retention and your rights

Experus itself stores no personal data about you. Data processed by Google (advertising, purchases, Play Games) is retained according to Google's policies, and you can exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection) through your Google account settings (myaccount.google.com) and your device's ad settings. For questions about this policy or to exercise rights under the GDPR with respect to Experus, contact info@experus.com.

7. Changes

We will update this page when the game's data practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
